What we offer

The surgery is in the centre of Guildford (?) in the London Road( limited parking available). At our practise we offer a comprehensive podiatry and chiropody service.

We are experienced in treating patients of ALL ages from toddlers to the elderly.

We can also refer patients to G.P.s consultants, physiotherapists, and any health professional we feel necessary to provide the patient with a full and rounded treatment.

General Foot treatment and Advice

Foot treatments This includes corns, calluses ,fungal infections of skin and nails, cracked heels, generally painful feet.Footwear advice. Most obvious foot problems such as corns callus, bunion pain, footache, leg cramps and fatigue can indicate a postural problem* (see Biomechanics).

Ingrowing Toenails and nail surgery.

This is often caused by poor nail cutting and is very painful.Also caused by nail damage or deformity, which can be inherited. Very common in sports persons. We can perform a partial or total nail avulsion to offer a permanent solution, but can often be solved easily with general treatment. All of our podiatrists have current local anesthetic certificates.

Biomechanical Assessments and custom made orthotics.

This is an investigation of foot function in relation to the lower limbs and posture. We look at gait and measure joint movement in the assessment. Functional orthoses improve function of the feet and legs reducing wear and tear on joints and relieving pain in lower back hips knees etc.

Heel arch and ankle pain and sports injuries.

See Biomechanical Assessments and custom made orthotics.above, other complaints are plantar fascitis, metartarsalgia, Mortons neuroma, achilles tendon pain, "policemans heel". Severs disease, growing pains,intoeing and out toeing gait mainly in children and young adults, hyperidrosis.

Verrucae Treatments.

We offer various treatments which we tailor to suit the patients age and lifestyle. We use chemical cautery, lquid nitrogen,hyfrecation and homeopathic treatments.
